Just wanted to drop a quick line to say there have been some procedures put in place to handle criminal protective order modification requests.
We can’t handle contested requests at this time and of course we don’t have anything to do with family court, or civil protective orders. If someone has a criminal protective order and a civil protective order (protecting the same person, or victim) we can request modification of the criminal order however given an existing civil order the parties still could not reunify.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis and current social distancing mandates, CAMFT members and mental health professionals everywhere are using Telehealth services to safely provide continuity of care for their clients. Government officials and health care entities are establishing emergency policies regarding the use of Telehealth during this unprecedented time.
